Het energiekennisplatform Power-Link is een gezamenlijk initiatief van AG Haven Oostende en de Universiteit Gent, gehuisvest op het wetenschapspark Greenbridge in de Oostendse achterhaven. Power-Link geniet financiële steun van West-Vlaanderen, Vlaanderen en Europa.

Activities
The major activities of Power-Link consist of networking and information services.
The networking and related support activities have a rather broad range and include:
- localizing and guiding spin-offs from Ghent University within the Greenbridge Incubator;
- networking and getting academic research groups in contact with companies and entrepreneurs in the area of renewable and sustainable energy;
- inviting 'green' companies to support Power-Link and to use its services;
as well as aiming at;
- participating in and/or guiding local, regional, European projects on renewable and sustainable energy;
- coordinating and managing projects for the pratical realization of renewable and sustainable energy;
- tracing projects on renewable and sustainable energy.
As regards the information services, Power-Link focusses on:
- establishing and managing an information database on renewable and sustainable energy;
- creating and collecting an expert compendium, containing all relevant information on experts in the field of renewable and sustainable energy;
- guaranteeing a scientific knowledge base as a foundation for research projects.
Last but not least Power-Link strives to organize meetings and publications about renewable and sustainable energy in order to stimulate a dynamic exchange between actors, stakeholders and other interested parties.
